The Mountain Range

The height of the main peak reaches 4243 meters above sea level. At the foot of the mountain, archaeologists have discovered prehistoric cave dwellings, evidence of human presence here for over 9,000 years. The peak was first conquered by Russian mountaineer and topographer Andrey Pastukhov in 1892.
